27 Weeks....A little late!

Hey everyone!! So I am slightly behind on my 27 week post, but I did take the picture during my 27th week. Today I am 28 weeks 1 day!! Again, I cannot believe how fast time is flying......I also cannot believe that our time in FL is coming to an end. Will, Cooley, Stella, and I will be moving back to Madison, MS at the end of the month. We have had a great experience in FL, and will miss all of our Tax LLM friends.....but we are both ready to be back home and settled closer to family and friends!!! I am especially ready to start putting together Bradford's nursery!! At this point his nursery is in TX, MS, and FL!! I will start posting pictures of the work in progress once we are moved. I do not recommend moving during your third trimester, but if you have to move I hope that you have a great husband like Will. He has taken on so much of the burden of this move on his own, and I am so thankful for him! He actually will be moving us by  himself next weekend, because I will be traveling to Texas for my Grandmothers (Mom Mom) memorial service. I am sad that Bradford will not be able to meet my Mom Mom, but she defiantly already loved him and I will make sure he knows that and all about her as he grows up. Though I wish he would have been able to meet all of his great grandparents, Bradford will be blessed to have two great grandmothers and all four grandparents that will adore him!! On a more upbeat note we had a 3d/4d ultrasound last week and It was amazing! Bradford was very busy during the ultrasound. He was punching, kicking, and opening and closing his month. For those of you that know Will, the mouth moving is probably not much of a surprise haha:) The ultrasound tech said she had never seen a baby move his mouth so much as this stage in pregnancy. Again, not so much of a surprise for us!! It was great to get to see him again and make sure that he is healthy and growing. Some people say they can see who the baby looks like in this ultrasound, but we really still have no idea. I guess we will have to wait a few more months!!

Stretch marks? No thank goodness!!

Sleep: Sleeping very well except for the bathroom breaks

Miss Anything?I miss having my body all to myself hahaha

Movement: YES!!He is very busy! 

Food cravings: No weird cravings. I have wanted more sweets that usual but I am trying to eat fruit or yogurt instead of deserts as much as possible.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not EATING on time

Gender: BOY!! 

Labor Signs: no

Symptoms: I am feeling great overall! BUT I am using the restroom ALOT more and I didn't really think that was possible. Oh and I am losing some of that 2nd trimester energy:(

25 Weeks!!!!

25 WEEKS!! These last five or six weeks have been flying by and its hard to believe that we only have three months (give or take a week or so) left before we meet Bradford! We had another Dr. appointment this morning and it was eventful to say the least. I had my glucose test this morning and I knew that I was not supposed to eat before the appointment so I planned on sleeping as long as possible before getting up and  ready. Well this planned slightly backfired, and we didn't get up until 9 am for our 9:30 am appointment. We ended up only being a few minutes late, but we were definitely rushing! Once were in the office, the Dr. had me drink this kinda gross but not too terrible fruit punch sugar drink and my hour wait time began. I was feeling ok at this point and the Dr. does the normal exam (weight, measurements, and blood pressure). Then we get to hear Bradford's heart rate, which was 146 and of course we love this part! After seeing the Dr. and getting a good report on our progress we headed back to the waiting room. I had 30 more minutes before it was time for my blood test. Well those of you that know me well know I am not good when I get hungry, and this has not gotten better with being 6 plus months pregnant!! I am watching the clock and starting to feel bad but I think I can make it through....well ten minutes or so pass and I am feeling terrible shaking, HOT, and light headed. FINALLY its time to get the blood drawn. Will and I head up to the reception desk and I go down. I faint in the waiting room:( Will later tells me that on the way to the ground I say "yup" like I knew it was going to happen haha. This sends the entire office into a frenzy nurses and doctors running everywhere. They help me to sit down and take me to a room to lay down. They think this is a serious emergency and wonder why Will and I are so calm. We tell them this is normal that I don't do well when I don't eat and that I will be fine as soon as I eat. This at least calms them enough to agree to go ahead and do the test (I obviously didn't want to do this again). After they draw my blood, they gave me a juice box and a breakfast bar and I felt fine in minutes just like Will and I both knew I would. Well thank goodness the doctors believed me, because they were going to make me go to the hospital for monitoring if I wasn't much better. Though I make light of the situation I am very thankful that when I fell I didn't hurt myself or Baby Bradford. Another exciting part of this appointment was receiving our pictures from our free maternity shoot. Will and I modeled for our Dr. office's new website a few weeks back and were given a short shoot with the photographer Erin Robert with Studio 386 Photography. We love several of the pictures!!

Ft. Worth Baby Shower!!!

We had our first baby shower last weekend (June 23rd). It was such a wonderful shower and Bradford received so many great gifts. I am so blessed to have such great friends in Texas. I wish I could see them more often! We were able to spend an entire week in Texas visiting family and friends. My brother Jason and his girlfriend Michelle were also in town, and it was great to catch up with Jason and finally meet Michelle. The whole family traveled to Marble Falls after the shower to see my grandmother and aunt, and spend some time at the lake. All around it was a perfect trip!!! It is strange to think that we will most likely have a baby the next time we head to Texas!!! WOW its getting very very real!!

23 Weeks!!

We are in the sixth month! Its hard to believe how fast time is going and before we know it Bradford will be here!! Will and I are heading to TX on Thursday for a week and I cannot wait. Not only are we going to be able to spend time with my parents and little bro Logan, but my big brother Jason and his girlfriend are going to be in town too! We have not seen Jason in over a year WAY too long. Also, some of my wonderful friends are throwing me and Bradford a baby shower on Saturday:) BIG WEEK!! 

23 WEEKS AND 5 DAY PICTURE!!

How far along? 23 Weeks and 5 days  

Total weight gain: 10lbs at 21 weeks but i'm guessing I have gained a few more...I should be gaining a lb a week at this point
Maternity clothes? I am officially in maternity clothes

Stretch marks? No... 

Sleep: Sleeping very well...and I got a pregnancy pillow. It is AMAZING!! Will wants to steal it hehe

Best moment this week:? Will was able to feel Bradford move Friday night. He played him Rolling Stones Midnight Rambler  on his phone and Bradford loved it! I am pretty sure he was dancing:)

Miss Anything? Being able to stay at the pool for longer than a few hours. I normally can be in the sun all day NOT this summer.

21 Weeks!!!

Good Morning!!! I am now 21 weeks and 5 days and still feeling really good. I am loving the second trimester!! As I have said before, although I will be excited to move onto the third I have heard its not as "easy" as the second. Will and I have been out of town for basically all of May, and are glad to be home in FL for a while to rest. We had a great time this last week in MS with family and friends and loved seeing everyone at the boy scout function! I had another Dr. appointment yesterday (June 4th) and everything was good with both Bradford and I. He is growing and so am I the Dr. says he is in the perfect position ect... Also, his heart rate was 147 (I love hearing his little heart beat).

Symptoms: I am feeling great overall! I have been having round ligament pain which is from my abdominal muscles stretching. It feels like a pulled muscle the Dr. says that women with strong ab muscles have them worse than others.....I guess I shouldn't have done all those crunches after all haha jk I miss doing my ab workouts.

19/20 Weeks!!!

We are half way there!!! YAY! Time is flying and I am sure it will only go faster. I have been so blessed so far this pregnancy, because I have felt good and more importantly both of us have been healthy. I couldn't ask for more! Bradford is getting very big he is now measured in pounds instead of ounces, which is crazy. We have been out of town for a few weeks visiting family in Mississippi and traveling to VEGAS for my best friends wedding. I know yes I went to Vegas pregnant and it was actually really really fun. And of course totally worth it since I got to be there for Chrissy and John's BIG DAY:) Another fun activity (well at least for me) was taking pictures for our OB here in Gainesville. They are revamping their website and asked us to model. I had a great time and Will was a good sport. The best part was that they chose us for the ultrasound pictures sooooo not only did we get some great shots of us, but we got to see Bradford!! He is getting so BIG....the difference between 17 weeks and 20 weeks was crazy. Oh and of course he is about the cutest fetus ever haha not that I have seen many others (sorry yes I am afraid I have official become that mom).

Total weight gain: 4 lbs gained at my 17 week appointment and 7 lbs at 20 weeks

Stretch marks? No... 

Sleep: Sleeping very well...and I got a pregnancy pillow. I was having a hard time sleeping on my side which is recommended and I AM IN LOVE!! 

Best moment this week: Seeing Bradford of course!!

Miss Anything? As usual Sushi and a Diet Coke with Sonic ice would be yummy

Movement: YES!! I love it!! He wakes up (or I pay more attention) when im laying or sitting so mainly at night or during tv time! 

Food cravings: No not yet

ITS A........

BOY!!! We went to the Dr. on Thursday (May 3rd) and had our second ultrasound. Will and I discussed before the appointment that we didn't want to know the sex unless the Dr. was 100% sure!!! We shared this with our Dr. before the ultrasound, and she agreed. We had heard horror stories about couples finding out its a boy/girl and then having the sex "change" at a later appointment and we didn't want to chance it with baby J. The Dr. went from the head to the toes measuring and making sure that everything is developing correctly and thank God it is!! Then she said that she was 100% sure that she knew the sex and asked if we wanted to know we both said "YES" probably a little loud haha.... and she said ITS A BOY!!!I leaned up and looked at Will's face and he was shocked/happy/shocked/excited all at once it was a really special moment. After leaving the Dr. office, we went and met up with a group of our FL friends and had such a great night. We didn't have to tell them the sex they knew by Will's beaming face!! The next morning we drove to MS and shared the news with Will's family actually Cooley shared the news. I went online and ordered two t shits one "Its A Boy" blue shirt and one "Its A Girl" pink shirt. We let Cooley run around the house in the blue shirt to make the announcement!! My parents had a dinner party with family and friends and Will and I send a cake announcing Its A Boy! My mom is coming to MS to help me register later this week and I am very excited!! I am ready to start shopping. I almost forgot Baby J will be named...............................................

James is Will and Paul's (Wills dad) first name. Bradford is after both Will's uncle and cousin. We will call him Bradford! I am so glad to finally call Baby J by his name it makes the whole experience seem very real!!
