19/20 Weeks!!!

We are half way there!!! YAY! Time is flying and I am sure it will only go faster. I have been so blessed so far this pregnancy, because I have felt good and more importantly both of us have been healthy. I couldn't ask for more! Bradford is getting very big he is now measured in pounds instead of ounces, which is crazy. We have been out of town for a few weeks visiting family in Mississippi and traveling to VEGAS for my best friends wedding. I know yes I went to Vegas pregnant and it was actually really really fun. And of course totally worth it since I got to be there for Chrissy and John's BIG DAY:) Another fun activity (well at least for me) was taking pictures for our OB here in Gainesville. They are revamping their website and asked us to model. I had a great time and Will was a good sport. The best part was that they chose us for the ultrasound pictures sooooo not only did we get some great shots of us, but we got to see Bradford!! He is getting so BIG....the difference between 17 weeks and 20 weeks was crazy. Oh and of course he is about the cutest fetus ever haha not that I have seen many others (sorry yes I am afraid I have official become that mom).

How far along?20 weeks and 1 day! Half way there!!

Total weight gain: 4 lbs gained at my 17 week appointment and 7 lbs at 20 weeks  
Maternity clothes? I am officially in maternity clothes

Stretch marks? No... 

Sleep: Sleeping very well...and I got a pregnancy pillow. I was having a hard time sleeping on my side which is recommended and I AM IN LOVE!! 

Best moment this week: Seeing Bradford of course!!

Miss Anything? As usual Sushi and a Diet Coke with Sonic ice would be yummy

Movement: YES!! I love it!! He wakes up (or I pay more attention) when im laying or sitting so mainly at night or during tv time! 

Food cravings: No not yet  

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anymore 

Gender: BOY!! 

Labor Signs: no

Symptoms: I am feeling great... but I am getting bigger everyday now.

Wedding rings on or off? On. I really hope I can wear them the whole time I know its not that big of a deal but I love my rings!!!! 

Happy or Moody most of the time:Happy but I can and will cry at the slightest sad or happy moment haha so not my style 

Looking forward to: Will being able to feel Bradford move it shouldn't be too much longer!!! 

ITS A........

BOY!!! We went to the Dr. on Thursday (May 3rd) and had our second ultrasound. Will and I discussed before the appointment that we didn't want to know the sex unless the Dr. was 100% sure!!! We shared this with our Dr. before the ultrasound, and she agreed. We had heard horror stories about couples finding out its a boy/girl and then having the sex "change" at a later appointment and we didn't want to chance it with baby J. The Dr. went from the head to the toes measuring and making sure that everything is developing correctly and thank God it is!! Then she said that she was 100% sure that she knew the sex and asked if we wanted to know we both said "YES" probably a little loud haha.... and she said ITS A BOY!!!I leaned up and looked at Will's face and he was shocked/happy/shocked/excited all at once it was a really special moment. After leaving the Dr. office, we went and met up with a group of our FL friends and had such a great night. We didn't have to tell them the sex they knew by Will's beaming face!! The next morning we drove to MS and shared the news with Will's family actually Cooley shared the news. I went online and ordered two t shits one "Its A Boy" blue shirt and one "Its A Girl" pink shirt. We let Cooley run around the house in the blue shirt to make the announcement!! My parents had a dinner party with family and friends and Will and I send a cake announcing Its A Boy! My mom is coming to MS to help me register later this week and I am very excited!! I am ready to start shopping. I almost forgot Baby J will be named...............................................

James is Will and Paul's (Wills dad) first name. Bradford is after both Will's uncle and cousin. We will call him Bradford! I am so glad to finally call Baby J by his name it makes the whole experience seem very real!!

16 Weeks!!!

Hey everyone!! I am now 16 weeks and baby J can hear us talk (poor thing haha) and hear music!!

How far along?16 weeks and 4 days 

Total weight gain: I have gained 2 lbs   
Maternity clothes? same as a few weeks ago....wearing my normal cloths but a lot of them are too small but im still too small for my new maternity cloths 

Stretch marks? No... 

Sleep: Sleeping very well...except for the trips to bathroom:(

Best moment this week: I felt the baby for the first time, but only once. I should start to feel him/her move more often in the next few weeks. 

Miss Anything? As usual Sushi mainly Tuna!!!

Movement: YES but just once 

Food cravings: No not yet  

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anymore 

Gender: We find out on THURSDAY!! Cannot wait to see him/her  

Labor Signs: no

Symptoms: Im feeling pretty GREAT!!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most of the time but I when Im tired I get a little emotional ok A LOT emotional haha slightly toddler like I know!!

Looking forward to: THURSDAY!! We get to see our baby:) AND start calling him/her by their name!!!

14 Weeks!!!

Hey everyone!! Thanks for stopping by and reading my new blog!!! For all of you that this is your first time visiting, please go back and read my earlier posts. I have been posting since a few weeks after we found out about our new addition.

Yay for 2nd trimester. From what I have read and heard this is the best one of the three. AND im supposed to get my energy back, which will be a wonderful blessing after being so tired for so long!!!! Here is my 14 week picture!! I will take pictures every two weeks until we meet Baby J to chronicle  this journey. 

How far along? 14 Weeks and 2 days

Total weight gain: I am not sure.. if I was to bet gained one or two lbs since last appointment 
Maternity clothes? I can still wear my shorts and jeans but some of my dresses are too small. I now have maternity cloths thanks to my wonderful in laws!!
Stretch marks? No...
Sleep: Yes please.. haha sleeping very well
Best moment this week: Sharing with our families and friends FINALLY

THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Last weekend (April 5-9, 2012) we had both sets of parents and Mary Parker in town and we made the big announcement!! This weekend ranks as one of the best of my life so far it was perfect. Here is the "how we told them story" its pretty good..... My parents plane landed in Gainesville around two and we took them to a late lunch downtown. I wore a long black dress, because those of you that know Angela (my mom) know that she would not be quite about suspicious weight gain!! Will's parents and Mary Parker didn't land until seven. We had everyone over for some pre dinner drinks and appetizers. I could barely stand it any longer I kept looking at Will giving him the "please hurry look". After everyone said their hellos and got settled with drinks, Will said that I had been working on some new art. I like to paint I'm not amazing or anything, but its a fun hobby. Everyone gathered around in the living room then Will brought out the chalk board and set it against the wall. (see pictures of board) The faces and reactions were so fun to watch....the main reaction was pure SHOCK!!! (We had done a very good job of keeping our little precious baby J a secret) The initial shock was followed by excitement and joy it was a really touching moment for Will and I knowing how loved our baby already is by both of our families. We continued to celebrate baby J the rest of the weekend in St. Augustine!!!

Almost time to tell......

Next week both set of parents along with Will's little sister are coming to Gainesville!! They have no idea about the baby and we cannot wait to share the news. I am glad that we have kept the secret for so many reasons but it has been HARD!!!  I had my second Doctors appointment this week and we got to hear the heartbeat. It was fast 160 to be exact. I do not have another appointment until May 3rd when we find out if our baby is a Girl or Boy. I cannot wait to find out but im more exited about seeing the baby looking like a baby (my first ultrasound was at 6 weeks and the baby looked like a tiny speck see previous post for pic).  We also had an unexpected question while at our doctors office... the office manager asked if we would pose for pictures for their new website and waiting room pictures. I was slightly hesitant BUT then she said we will receive a free maternity photo shoot for our trouble!! SOLD!! Professional pictures are not cheap and honestly it sounds like fun oh and the pictures will be displayed in Florida where we don't know anyone so all around good deal!!

 

How far along?-Twelve weeks and two days

Total weight gain: I lost three lbs.... Dr. said this happens but that I need to eat more... so of course now Will is all over me about eating thanks doc haha
Maternity clothes? No...
Stretch marks? No...
Sleep: I sleep well until early in the morning when I have to get up and pee :( (like 5am) 
Best moment this week: Heart beat at Dr. Appointment (160)

Movement: no 
Food cravings: No not yet 
Anything making you queasy or sick: certain smells and chicken which for those that know me well is so strange because its all I ate pre prego
Gender: We find out on May 3!!! Cannot wait to see him/her 
Labor Signs: no
Symptoms: I think im over the nausea it was only bad for a few weeks, im still tired alot, and some food just isnt appetizing...... but over all I am feeling good!!

First Dr. Appointment

We had our first Dr. Appointment this week!!! We found out that I am/was 6 weeks along as of Thursday Feb. 16, 2012. Due date is October 11, 2012!! The Dr. did an ultrasound it was pretty amazing!! The heartbeat was my favorite part it was so fast! I got to ask all of my questions which was reassuring and we set our next appointment for March 29th. The Dr said that we probably wouldn't be able to tell the sex then but that baby Janoush would look more like a baby in the ultrasound. After the appointment, Will and I completed a little project that I found on Pinterest. We made a chalk board out of ply wood, chalk board paint, and molding. I am going to take picutes by the chalk board every week or few weeks as a way to document the pregnancy! Then the board will live in the babies room for decoration!! Here is my first pic.....
