Week 36/37!!!

Hey Everyone!!! I am very excited to announce that I am officially "full term" yay baby Bradford!! Today I am 37 weeks and 4 days!! We are ready and waiting for Bradford's arrival. His room is ready (except for the glider that will be here on Friday it has officially shipped!). We will complete all of our childbirth classes tomorrow!! I have packed Bradford's bag for the hospital. My bag is packed as much as it can be, of course there are several last minutes items that I will have to add, but I have a list of those items handy. Will, I am sure will pack at the last minute, but men can pack like that haha! Will and I put together Bradford's pack and play and swing this weekend. Bradford will sleep in our room in the pack and play for the first few weeks/month of his life.Well at least that is the "plan". I have read a lot about newborns and what to do and what not to do but I am going to try to just go with what works best for him and us. Those that know me well know that this is probably going to be difficult, because I am big on planning and organization. I have been trying very hard to let go and go with the flow more during this pregnancy. I know that everything will work out the way it is supposed to and that I am not in control of this situation, which is very hard when it comes to his birth and birthday! Everyone keeps asking when Bradford will be born and I HAVE NO CLUE!!! We go for our weekly checkup on Wednesday and I would like to think that we will know more at that time, but I doubt it. I love my Dr. because she is so very honest. She says that she could tell us things like "he should be here soon due to xyz" or "he is not ready to come out due to xyz" but she says she would most likely be wrong! Babies come when they are good and ready!!! All I know is that we will be ready for him when he comes!!! Please keep us in your prayers as we wait to become a family of three!

Week 34/35

Hey everyone!!! I am 35 weeks and 5 days! Most babies are born between 36 and 41 weeks so the wait is on.....although I am anxious to meet baby Bradford I hope he stays as long as he wants/needs unless its past 41 weeks because I would rather not be induced. My doctor will not allow me to go more that 41 weeks, and I am sure that I will be pretty ready by then too!! We are almost finished with Bradford's room. All  we are missing is his glider that I ordered in June, but they claim it will be here by September 20th. So I am not going to stress I am not going to stress I am not going to stress.....can you tell its stressing me out a little haha. Will and I have been attending childbirth classes and will continue to attend through the end of September! I would like to get through all of our classes before Bradford arrives, but if we don't I am sure we will figure it out on our own haha! We went to the Ole Miss football game in Oxford this past weekend and had a BLAST! It is most likely the only game we will make it to this season and I am so glad they WON!! I cannot wait for next football season when he can go to the grove and wear his cute Ole Miss gear!!

32 Weeks!!

Hey Everyone! I'm sorry for the delayed post:( I have been so busy the last couple of weeks moving, but we are all settled in and Bradford's room is even coming close to being finished!! My mom has been in town for the last week helping with Bradford's room and I am so thankful for her help.....a week ago his room was a put together crib and a bunch of boxes stacked everywhere! She refinished and painted two pieces of furniture for his room a dresser/changer and a side table. They are so amazing, and will make his room for sure!! We were supposed to do a bunch of the decorating ect together this week BUT I got a stomach virus and have not been much help at all. I am also so thankful that my mom was in town while I was sick because she is a very good nurse.

Will started his job this week and I couldn't be more proud of him!!! Congratulations Will!! He has worked/studied for eight years for this job and its hard to believe but he is now a practicing tax attorney!!!

Cupcakes to Celebrate Will's first day of work!

Last weekend I had a beautiful shower in Jackson (well actually Canton) at my friend Claire's home. It was so much fun to see everyone and catch up. Bradford got so many great gifts!! Thank you to everyone who attended and a big thank you to all of the lovely hostesses Claire, Chrissy, Jenny and Lauren!! I have another shower this weekend in Cleveland (Will's hometown) and I cannot wait! Also, my daddy is coming in town for the weekend not to attend the shower haha but to see us so its going to be a great weekend!

Mom, Me, Lucy, and Mary Parker at the shower

Jenny, Me, and Anna at the shower

Our first baby Cooley Janoush has been officially kicked out of our bed:( tear...This has been very hard on me, but we think it is going to be best for the Bradford if a 85lb Golden isn't jumping on our bed in the middle of the night. So we have purchased Cooley his own bed (along with a special monogrammed pillow). He seems to really like his bed and we are hoping this will keep him out of ours. Wish us luck!!

30 Weeks!!!

Hey everyone!! I am 30 weeks and 5 days!! CRAZY!! Bradford is healthy and according to my last ultrasound he is a big boy. He weighed 3 pounds 2 oz at 28 weeks and 5 days, which puts him in the 80th percentile. That was my last appointment in Gainesville, which was a little sad because I love my Gainesville OB and staff:( BUT Will and I are very excited to be back in MS and especially excited to move back in to our home in Madison. This week is actually our move in week and I am in Cleveland with my in laws (I would not be any help to Will at this point)!! Again, I DO NOT recommend moving this late in pregnancy.....poor Will! He is taking it very well and it was actually his idea for me to stay behind in Cleveland until all of the big moving, cleaning, and painting is completed. Paul, Lucy, and I (Wills parents) are heading to Madison this weekend to unpack and decorate. I am very thankful for their help too!! I spoke with my new/Jackson OB today and she gave me some bad news...I am hypoglycemic. This is actually not a big shock, but its not good news. I have started to feel light headed and dizzy a few times a day at or around meal times. I knew this was a possibility, but she confirmed it with my glucose test results. So I am on strict orders to eat every two hours, which is not fun but its much better than fainting haha! I of course was more concerned about Bradford than myself, but the Dr said he is fine and that my body should regulate itself after a few weeks of eating this way. The condition will become more threatening if my body is unable to regulate itself. Thus far eating regularly has kept me feeling ok so hopefully this diet will work. Please say a little prayer. Other than the low blood sugar I have been feeling really good and have been so blessed with a easy pregnancy. I just hope I continue to feel good for the next nine weeks!!

27 Weeks....A little late!

Hey everyone!! So I am slightly behind on my 27 week post, but I did take the picture during my 27th week. Today I am 28 weeks 1 day!! Again, I cannot believe how fast time is flying......I also cannot believe that our time in FL is coming to an end. Will, Cooley, Stella, and I will be moving back to Madison, MS at the end of the month. We have had a great experience in FL, and will miss all of our Tax LLM friends.....but we are both ready to be back home and settled closer to family and friends!!! I am especially ready to start putting together Bradford's nursery!! At this point his nursery is in TX, MS, and FL!! I will start posting pictures of the work in progress once we are moved. I do not recommend moving during your third trimester, but if you have to move I hope that you have a great husband like Will. He has taken on so much of the burden of this move on his own, and I am so thankful for him! He actually will be moving us by  himself next weekend, because I will be traveling to Texas for my Grandmothers (Mom Mom) memorial service. I am sad that Bradford will not be able to meet my Mom Mom, but she defiantly already loved him and I will make sure he knows that and all about her as he grows up. Though I wish he would have been able to meet all of his great grandparents, Bradford will be blessed to have two great grandmothers and all four grandparents that will adore him!! On a more upbeat note we had a 3d/4d ultrasound last week and It was amazing! Bradford was very busy during the ultrasound. He was punching, kicking, and opening and closing his month. For those of you that know Will, the mouth moving is probably not much of a surprise haha:) The ultrasound tech said she had never seen a baby move his mouth so much as this stage in pregnancy. Again, not so much of a surprise for us!! It was great to get to see him again and make sure that he is healthy and growing. Some people say they can see who the baby looks like in this ultrasound, but we really still have no idea. I guess we will have to wait a few more months!!

25 Weeks!!!!

25 WEEKS!! These last five or six weeks have been flying by and its hard to believe that we only have three months (give or take a week or so) left before we meet Bradford! We had another Dr. appointment this morning and it was eventful to say the least. I had my glucose test this morning and I knew that I was not supposed to eat before the appointment so I planned on sleeping as long as possible before getting up and  ready. Well this planned slightly backfired, and we didn't get up until 9 am for our 9:30 am appointment. We ended up only being a few minutes late, but we were definitely rushing! Once were in the office, the Dr. had me drink this kinda gross but not too terrible fruit punch sugar drink and my hour wait time began. I was feeling ok at this point and the Dr. does the normal exam (weight, measurements, and blood pressure). Then we get to hear Bradford's heart rate, which was 146 and of course we love this part! After seeing the Dr. and getting a good report on our progress we headed back to the waiting room. I had 30 more minutes before it was time for my blood test. Well those of you that know me well know I am not good when I get hungry, and this has not gotten better with being 6 plus months pregnant!! I am watching the clock and starting to feel bad but I think I can make it through....well ten minutes or so pass and I am feeling terrible shaking, HOT, and light headed. FINALLY its time to get the blood drawn. Will and I head up to the reception desk and I go down. I faint in the waiting room:( Will later tells me that on the way to the ground I say "yup" like I knew it was going to happen haha. This sends the entire office into a frenzy nurses and doctors running everywhere. They help me to sit down and take me to a room to lay down. They think this is a serious emergency and wonder why Will and I are so calm. We tell them this is normal that I don't do well when I don't eat and that I will be fine as soon as I eat. This at least calms them enough to agree to go ahead and do the test (I obviously didn't want to do this again). After they draw my blood, they gave me a juice box and a breakfast bar and I felt fine in minutes just like Will and I both knew I would. Well thank goodness the doctors believed me, because they were going to make me go to the hospital for monitoring if I wasn't much better. Though I make light of the situation I am very thankful that when I fell I didn't hurt myself or Baby Bradford. Another exciting part of this appointment was receiving our pictures from our free maternity shoot. Will and I modeled for our Dr. office's new website a few weeks back and were given a short shoot with the photographer Erin Robert with Studio 386 Photography. We love several of the pictures!!

Ft. Worth Baby Shower!!!

We had our first baby shower last weekend (June 23rd). It was such a wonderful shower and Bradford received so many great gifts. I am so blessed to have such great friends in Texas. I wish I could see them more often! We were able to spend an entire week in Texas visiting family and friends. My brother Jason and his girlfriend Michelle were also in town, and it was great to catch up with Jason and finally meet Michelle. The whole family traveled to Marble Falls after the shower to see my grandmother and aunt, and spend some time at the lake. All around it was a perfect trip!!! It is strange to think that we will most likely have a baby the next time we head to Texas!!! WOW its getting very very real!!
